BAN PT ASSESSORS DO SURVEILLANCE IN UDINUS
To offer the best education for Indonesian in Central Java, Dian Nuswantoro University keep trying continues to get the best accreditation. Not only accreditation for the Study Program (Prodi) or Faculty level, but for the university level also continues to be pursued. Udinus got the opportunity to be guided by the Bimtek Riset Dikti Team in July 2016 after achieved B accreditation. And on May 12th 2017, the assessor team from National Accreditation Board of Higher Education (BAN PT) visited Udinus to conduct surveillance assessment.
Udinus’ Rector, Prof. Dr. Ir. Edi Noersasongko, M.Kom stated that Udinus through the Quality Assurance Office (KPM) conducted activities to maintain the Udinus quality. It is realized by conducting surveillance because the accreditation value is 357. "The increasing of the number of accredited ‘A’ study programs, the number of permanent doctorate lecturers and the encouragement of the Bimtek team strengthens Udinus to conduct surveillance, "said Edi.
Udinus has been in the 23rd rank of Webometric of over 4300 universities in Indonesia and in the 5th rank of the best Private University in Indonesia. "We also encourage the lecturers to create national and international journals in order to pass the world level," added Edi.
The Chairman of BAN PT, Dwi Wahyu Sasongko, Ph.D confirmed that the accreditation of this college is not only the responsibility of the BAN PT, but also the entire academic community of the college, including lecturers and students. "Surveillance assessment is done where there is dissatisfaction from the college, stakeholders, as well as PT BAN itself. Our purpose is to see and reassess the things that need to be evaluated, "said Dwi Wahyu Sasongko.
In this surveillance, the Chairman of BAN PT was accompanied by other assessors, namely Prof. Dr. Ir. Johny Wahyuadi Soedarsono, DEA from the University of Indonesia (UI), Dr. Ria Mardiana Yusuf, S.E., M.Si from Hassanuddin University (Unhas) Makasar, and Ir. Subagyo, Ph.D From the University of Gadjah Mada (UGM). (* PR)
